When to Apply?

The work program in Cyprus is ideal for graduates and young people wishing to gain hospitality
experience abroad. The program gives you the unique chance to change your life for 6-12
months, gain international work skills, improve your English and enjoy sun & sea!
Program work all year around but more start dates are from April/May, finish dates are
30.october.
The salary is from 500-1200 Eur (net) per month.
The average working hours are 8 hours per day, 6 days per week. Overtime work is paid extra. Meal and
accommodation free of charge are provided by a hotel. Any hotel pays one or two way flights
tickets after successful end contract and provided free transfer from airport.
Positions: cooks ,receptionist ,bartender, waiter/ess ,kitchen porter ,bell boys. porter ,laundry
porter, housekeeping ,maintains
Duration of the program
6 to 12 months
Start dates: April every year
Salary
The salary is from 500-1200 Eur (net) per month
Meal and accommodation
provided by a hotel for free.
Departments
Restaurant: waitresses/waiters in bar & restaurant,
Front of House: Receptionist, Concierge, Porter etc….
Floors: Housekeeping staff
Kitchen: Chef de partie, Demi chef de partie, Commis de Cuisine, Kitchen porter
Manager positions : reception and managers’ positions a minimum of 6 months is required and good communication skills of English and Spanish are required any other European language is appreciated.
Working hours:
The average working hours are 48 hours per week (8 hours/day, 6 days/week).
General Requirements
EU citizens
18 to 30 years old.
NON EU Citizens are accepted
Australia aged 18 to 30.
If your visa application were to be denied your deposit will be 100% refunded within 48 hours.
Language skills
English : basic
Good communication skills in English are required for receptionist’s positions.
Knowledge of German, Greek, French, Italian, Russian and any other European language is appreciated but not essential.

Passport-sized and full-body photo (with smile);
Reference letters, relevant certificates, diplomas, etc (if you have any);
Copy of passport and/or identification card.
European health insurance card.
A certificate from the police to say that you have no previous criminal record less than 3 months before your departure date.

Application process for working holiday EU programs
Get detailed information about the program and the terms of participation.
Send the necessary papers: CV in AJ, photos of the passport format and photo (with a smile).
You will be interviewed by phone or Skype by your potential future Host company.
The deposit will be returned in case of no confirmed placement.
For all non-EU /working holiday/applicants it will be necessary to apply for a working holiday visa.
Once your employer has confirmed your placement, we will send all information about placement/ internship.

We do send your placement confirmation with all the details related to your placement: position, salary, accommodation, contact details etc..)
You will need to read it, sign and return it by email
Once you have received the contract, you also must pay the remaining amount of the administrative fee 350 EUR before your departure.
Before your departure: You need to
Send copy of your flight tickets, so we can confirm your future host company your arrival date.
Have a health insurance, travel insurance, a valid passport for your entire stay , your signed contract, and black (dark) shoes and no sport shoes/ no trainers.
